    Iowa State SOS

By the NCAA’s measure, which counts your past and future opponents record this season, Iowa State has the toughest schedule in the country. Its opponents have a 51-24 record.

    Some other facts:
Rhoads needed just 22 games to reach 12 wins. That's the second-fastest in school history, behind Clay Stapleton, who needed 21 games (1958-59).

Iowa State is 9-1 under Paul Rhoads when it keeps opponents under 150 yards rushing.

I know they had the #1 at the beginning of the year, but a lot of the time it slips since Oklahoma, Texas, Iowa, Utah have been knocked out of the top 10

They were emotionally down after their Super Bowl weeks with us.

Since we are an elite team now, let's go get that One Cyclone Moment.
Make this one for the ages!

    Re: Iowa State SOS

I was thinking this morning that it has to be going down with the demise of Texas and Oklahoma, Missouri and Utah all losing.

When it comes to Texas, I think we should get some credit for their demise.....I think we exposed there d-line in some areas, that other teams have picked up on. I mean, they did not look that vulnerable on defense until the week they played us.

Yep, the whole team and fanbase has been in panic mode since they played us and it got worse when they couldn't keep up with Baylor.

I really hope they don't get to 6 wins this year. That would be awesome.

With their last three games I can only see them legitimately winning one of them. Okie State and A&M are playing pretty good right now. I can see Texas only getting to 5 wins.

I agree, it isn't like UCLA rushed for almost 300 yards against them in Austin 3 weeks earlier and scored 34 points.

They beat Nebraska at Nebraska the week before. I think his point is valid.
