    Week Ten Sagarin Rankings (45th)

The week 10 Sagarin rankings are out. We are still 27th in the one that he uses for BCS, but 45th in his aggregate ranking.

Here's how the Big XII shapes up overall

    42 Texas Tech
    45 Iowa State
    46 Texas
    66 Colorado
    115 Kansas
    Other teams of note:
    12 Iowa
    14 Utah
    54 Northern Illinois
    99 Northern Iowa

His predictor indicates ISU by 1 or 2 points on Saturday. However, his predictor also would say that Northern Illinois would beat us by 4, so take that with a grain of salt.

Overall, other than being behind a Tech team that we beat, I can't really find a lot of fault with these rankings. That Kansas State loss really stings.

Can't say I disagree with that predictor. My own spreadsheet says that Northern Illinois should beat us. Although, the same spreadsheet says our only three wins this year are Northern Iowa, Kansas, and Colorado. (To be fair, it says Texas and Texas Tech were both favored to win by about 2 points, which is a far better value than many of our true losses this year.)

    Go Sssssssssyclones!

I think the two blowout losses screw up the predictor numbers. Hopefully we can go ahead and pick up win 6 this weekend.
