If both Oregon and Auburn lose it could be a mid major vs Nebraska...

That makes me want to puke...

I didnt think that I would ever say this, but i think TCU deserves a shot at the championship after the way they beat down a solid Utah team today.

Re: If Auburn or Oregon lose a regular season game

Nebraska will finish the season 12-1 and would likely jump to #1 or #2 if Auburn and Oregon lose. It could also happen that

    13-0 Auburn
    vs
    12-1 Nebraska

Re: If Auburn or Oregon lose a regular season game

I'm hoping for both to lose, because the NCAA will find a way to screw TCU and Boise out of it again. Otherwise, either Oregon or Auburn will play against a one loss team.

Which would be a bunch of bull crap in my opinion.

Both Boise and TCU have wins over Oregon State.

TCU does have the higher ranked win over Utah as compared to Boise defeating #10 Virginia Tech. However, Utah was clearly overrated being ranked at #5.

If Boise wins out, including defeating a ranked Nevada team, that would give Boise 3 wins against ranked opponents to TCU's 2 wins over ranked opponents.

I know the computers do not take previous seasons in account, but common sense would say that TCU should not get the nod over Boise since Boise did defeat the Horned Frogs last year in a BCS bowl game.

Boise has not lost since December 23, 2008. Ironically, their last lost was in the Poinsettia Bowl, to TCU.

I would like to see both Oregon and Auburn lose, resulting in a national championship game of Boise State v. Texas Christian.

    +1

The problem is that I don't see Oregon losing at all this year. I do see Auburn losing though to Bama. So, what you'll probably have is a 1 lose SEC, Big-10 and Big 12 champ and an undefeated PAC-10 champ. On top of that, you'll probably have 2 undefeated non-BCS teams (TCU and Boise). So, who gets into the NC game?
