Is this a loss that affects us the rest of the season?......

Stunned........thats me, the fans that were there and the players as they walked off the field, stunned. Love CPR, but we are playing at home, not in Lincoln, but at home. This loss may linger the rest of the season.

Of course it affects us! It is still a L and now we are .500 on the season. Now the big question is how will it affect the team when they play the remainder of the season? I bet the answer to that question is that it won't. CPR won't let it affect them!!!

Could not disagree more. This coaching staff will not let that happen. We beat Colorado by a touchdown next week.

Don't think so. Our guys just went toe to toe with Texas and Nebraska and almost beat both. Think about that for a second and let that sink in. We were not over matched by either. These guys are playing with confidence.

no chance. listening to the post game now. both players that they've interviewed said "we have to put it to bed and go back to work for colorado tomorrow" i have 100% faith in our staff to not let this affect us.

yes and no...this is definitely a tough loss...but I think we will see an incredibly motivated team next week against colorado...this season is not over...we still have a lot to play for and Rhoads will remind them of that

Yes, for the positive. We realize we can play with the best of them and win out. If you look at who we lost to this year, there is no way you can complain. The only non ranked team we lost to was K-State who is no slouch.

We get trounced by OK and go on to beat Texas and you wonder about the psyche of the team? This was a great game that we had in hand. In years past we would have lost this game once down by 14 but we came back and I COULDNT BE MORE PROUD of these guys. CPR has got them believing in themselves when they could have folded the tent and went home after OK. Instead they beat TX and after a poor half against Kansas come back to dominate a second half. A lot of positives showing up in this years team.

Of course it's going to affect us. We played our hearts out, and barely lost. I honestly believe Rhoads will motivate this team because of it, and we're going to be a better team because of it. We had plenty of mistakes. Few penalties in the red-zone. Turnovers. Lot's of things to fix. We'll be alright. Have faith in Rhoads. He knows what he's doing.

Rhoads does know what he's doing. I think thats the first time I've said that about an ISU coach.

I suggest you snap out of it. Have you watched this team before today?

People gave up on them after they lost badly to Iowa and dropped a tough one against K-State. Then they returned home to beat UNI and Texas Tech in spectacular fashion.

People gave up on them after they got blown out by Utah and Oklahoma. Then they stunned Texas in Austin.

They did the same types of things last year too.

If there's anything ISU fans should realize by now, it's that Paul Rhoads will not let this team give up. I'm not guaranteeing a win next week, but I expect they will win next week. This team won't give up, and I'm not giving up on them.
