I think it would be cool if ISU put camo in the numbers when they play their game before veterans day

I still think it's hard to beat these. I especially love the helmets.

I still think Army should wear those every single game. Without a doubt the best looking and most meaningful uniforms I've ever seen.

So do you get ****** when MLB does it for Independence Day?

How about when Iowa State busts out the Pink Zone games?

    Re: Utah/TCU uni's

Just my opinion, but these uniform stunts seem so self serving and ridiculous. How is wearing new unis with a little bit of camouflage in them really honoring vets? Seems like it's more about how flashy can we make our players look and maybe get some added air time during ESPN highlights. If they really wanted to honor vets the schools and the NCAA could take all the money they dump into developing and creating these new unis and donate it to VFW, homeless vets, VA hospitals, etc. Maybe they already do, but every extra bit helps.

We should all ignore Veteran's Day, you know, out of respect to the veterans.

    1. The uniforms draw attention to the day and when it is brought up, they discuss Veterans Day. anything that draws attention to the service our Veterans have given is fine by me. They need more attention brought to them since most people forget them when they come home.
    2. The players names will be removed as well and replaced by Armed Sevrices core value phrases like "code, honor, courage, committment..."
    3. The teams will auction off the uniforms and donate 100% to Wounded Warriors. See this link Under Armour and Wounded Warrior Project Honor U.S. Armed Forces with Specially Designed Football Uniforms - TEXAS TECH OFFICIAL ATHLETIC SITE .
    4. I would bet a years salary that the money generated, the publicity from the campaign, and the publicity from the uniforms being worn during the broadcast is worth 100xs what it cost UA to develop and create the uniforms. For crying out loud, Wounded Warriors is getting three hours of advertisment for its cause. Not to mention the publicity leading up to the games.
Now is Under Armour getting some marketing/publicity out of this? Sure, but I don't see how anyone could think that drawing attention to the sacrifices our soldiers make, and then giving donations to Wounded Warriors is a bad thing. The uniforms will force the announcers to talk about the program and it is free publicity for the organization. I would imagine their donations will see a dramatic increase following theese games. Sometimes people need to take their distrust/hatred (not you specifically) of companies and flush it down the toilet. Large corporations donate millions upon millions to non profits every year and keep those organizations running. Yes, they benfit, but the benefit to the non profit organizations is much greater. Anyone that worked in fundraising understood their value when the economy went to crapola and donations went way down.
