    usually the NFL takes a Sunday night off during world series time. Wonder why they chose to play this year? My guess is that none of the teams are from major markets.

    i can only watch baseball during may and only really get into college basketball during February and march.

    Jan: football then wrestling
    Feb: wrestling
    March: wrestling then basketball
    April: Track
    May: Track then baseball
    June-Dec: Football

    NFL schedules are set in April--except for Sunday night games in the latter half of the season--so they had no way of knowing what teams would be in the World Series. I don't know the exact reason they chose not to take the Sunday night off this year, but it seems to have been a good choice for the NFL.

    No lie, I didn't even know the World Series was on the brink of being over until I saw it on the news.

    However, I can tell you what college football teams are playing Thurs/Fri night.
