    Should my wife be mad?

My wife asked me to get her a glass of water. When I got to the kitchen I noticed that there was a pot of water on the stove that we boiled hot dogs in for supper that night. I poured her a glass of hot dog water and comedy ensued. She was pretty upset about this but I thought it was a pretty good gag(literally), I think deep down she thought it was funny too.

She probably won't be as mad as you will be when she cuts you off for the next month.

That's the best way to cook a hot dog! Yes, even better than over an open fire.

You do realize that's the kind of joke that you play on your buddies--not your wife?

My parents do that, claiming that the hot dogs heat-up better (more evenly) and they won't split when boiled. I'm too lazy for that and just stick 'em in the microwave for 30 seconds.

My wife would not be mad at all. She'd probably think it was funny.

Re: Should my wife be mad?

This is funny. Be wary, she will definitely seek revenge upon you 10 fold.

I too grew up with boiled hot dogs. I am not a fan. I prefer the good taste of a grilled dog, that is, when I eat them. I've moved up in the world to brats...
