Never to High, never to Low

While I burn some time while working on a research paper I was thinking on a word of advice cyclone fans.

Never to High, never to low.

This weekend has the potential to be monumental, but lets try to keep it even keeled. If we do pull off another "giant killer" upset don't get to high.

If we do get blasted out at home(and I have a feeling Bo will have no qualms with unleashing a little payback after last years embarassment), don't dip too low.

Look at where this season started, where we were 2 years ago, and the Strength of schedule this season. Just getting to a bowl game is more than most of us expected at the begining. A five win season is more than ahead of Paul Rhoads and companies schedule for success.

Never to high, Never to low.

Re: Never to High, never to Low

If we beat nebraska, this place will be on an all time high, and deservedly so. We will have beaten nebraska 2x in a row for the first time since 76\77, and we will be 2 games from winning the north with colorado as one of those 2 games.

I agree if it ends up lopsided against us that things should be kept in perspective.

No offense, but I hope you're not using the same grammar in your paper as you did in the title of this thread.

Well, you got one "too" correct in there, I guess.

But I agree with the sentiment. Coach Rhoads has said something similar recently when he says you're never as good as you look, and you're never as bad as you look.

if we beat neb and colorado but then lose to mizzou, we'll finish 3rd in the north most likely

CF is clearly made up of the more radical members of our fanbase. to ask these people not to overreact at either a win or a loss is like asking hitler to embrace equality, or UNIguy4cy to say something intelligent - it isn't gonna happen.

The fact is that I am simply trying to convey my point. If I wanted to have a conversation with highly educated individual I would post on scholarly listservs. Instead of actually posting something of value I get people that ignore my point and instead pick apart my grammar.

Or, you could actually bother to spell correctly, which prevents the inevitable detraction from the point you are trying to make.

No one takes a second grader's opinion seriously--do you?

Part of this fanbase is like the parable of the blind men and the elephant.

    Who knew?
