    Texas won't lose to Baylor.

At least I hope they don't.

Agreed. Even though Texas in down and Baylor is up, I just won't believe it until I see it. I would be stunned if Texas lost a third game in a row at home. And we already saw that the Texas defense can stop a good running quaterback (see NU). I think Texas comes ready to play and wins by 17.

Mac Brown is fine. He has a National Title in his back pocket. Guy is allowed one bad year. Even at Texas.

Nobody but HB knows for sure. You pretty much know nothing....like Knownothing would like to say.

I hope they do. I want to see that meltdown, and I love cheering for Baylor.

Their surge could point out that it can be done, and that college football doesn't have to be the traditional powers ruling and everyone else liking it.

    Go Bears!!!

If Texas loses to Baylor college football will turn on it's head... at the end of the season Mac Brown will be out at Texas, Muschamp to Georgia, Chizik to Texas, and Auburn will come calling for Rhoads!!!

You forget that we will be playing Baylor every year now and if Baylor has a "resurgence" that is one more team from Texas with a recruiting boost against us.

Thats not gonna matter one bit, i heard some figures that the UGA athletic department is sitting on somewhere around a $75 million surplus and thats the lowest number I've heard. If they want rid of Richt money is no object.

Now if only they could give some of that to us...

I'm not forgetting, but I can't deny that they have something good going on, and it shows that nobody has to stay at the bottom.

There aren't a lot of programs in the Big 12 that are going to have consistent down years, and I'm just not one to hope for someone's failure. Unless they're Cornhuskers, but they only matter for one more week.

Yeah but we are looking at this as Cyclone fans, Texas and their tradition have short fuses for losing, similar to Tubberville at Auburn, and Notre Dames mess of coaches they have been through in the last 10 years....

If Mack is in trouble, wouldn't the shine kind of be off of Muschamp as well? It's not like Texas' D has been a beacon of consistency for them this year. I can't imagine that Mack gets run after one bad season, but I could see him being forced to offer Greg Davis at the alter to appease some of the big money boys.

Re: If Texas loses to Baylor.....

I think Muschamp is losing some luster with the Texas fanbase so I think they'd rather keep Mack around than forcing him out and handing the reins over to Muschamp
