    eIU Joke

I had this sent to me by a friend. You can change it to what you want if you choose to send it out to others, but one of the last lines really sums up an Iowa fan.

An Iowa Hawkeye fan is drinking in a New York bar, when he gets a
call on his cell phone. He hangs up, grinning from ear to ear, and
orders a round of drinks for everybody in the bar, announcing his
wife has just given birth to a typical Iowa Hawkeye baby boy weighing 25 pounds.

Nobody can believe that any new baby can weigh in at 25 pounds,
but the Iowa fan just shrugs and replies, "That's about average
back home, folks, like I said, my boy's a typical Iowa Hawkeye
baby boy. Gonna be a Hawkeye football player."

Congratulations showered him from all around, amid many
exclamations of "WOW!" One woman actually fainted due to sympathy pains.

Two weeks later, he returns to the bar. The bartender says,
"Say, aren't you the father of that typical Iowa Hawkeye baby that
weighed 25 pounds at birth? Everybody's been making bets about how big he'd be
    in two weeks.

So, how much does he weigh now?" The proud father answers,
    "Seventeen pounds."

The bartender is puzzled, concerned and a little suspicious.
"What happened? He already weighed 25 pounds the day he was born!"
The Iowa father takes a slow swig of his Busch light beer, wipes his
lips on his shirt sleeve, leans into the bartender and proudly says,
    "Had him circumcised."

(At least we would be drinking a Bud Light )

    Re: eIU Joke

The funny part to me is that who ever chose to change the joke to represent an "Iowa Hawkeye Baby" chose to insert Busch Light as the beer of choice compared to a beer of higher quality and made the joke a joke.

    Re: eIU Joke

Yeah, that's not a funny joke. You could change it to any team you want and it's still not funny. It barely makes sense, and that's only if you put forth the considerable effort needed to deduce the punchline.

    Lame. Post better threads.

I also remember a game with Kansas when Cy (wore a huge suit then) went out to center field, squatted, and "pooped" a couple of chickens that had been dyed blue then chased them around.

Sheesh I feel like Rodney Dangerfield here, The point was about the lame joke and the beer of choice being changed to Busch Light, guess I am the only one who thinks Busch Light is a punch line in itself.

    Re: eIU Joke

not that good, and I am still in college so I'll take a Busch Light dirty 30 pack on a weekend when i need to do some damage.

I thought the punchline had to do with the *****, and it sounded like you said he had a big dick

Fine, let's "liven" up this thread:

In an English 101 class geared for EIU athletes, what do professors teach comes after a sentence?
