Per Iowa State Athletics Facebook page. I don't know how many they sold but this can only be good for attendance Saturday!
Personally I am hoping that everyone getting a $10 hillside ticket depresses the prices the resellers are able to ask (since people who normally might buy from them just got hillside seats). I'm walking up to buy so the closer I can get to the field the better!
So when hillsides are sold out does that mean they pack so many people in there that everyone is standing shoulder to shoulder, or can you still at least sit in the grass?
I was at the UNI game in 2007 when we had 57,000 in attendance. Hillsides were basically shoulder to shoulder, but people could have squeezed together more if necessary. Those that got there late, were standing on the sidewalks and in places with poor sightlines.
