That's assuming Arnaud can get a pass thrown accurately. Austen has a knack of making the ISU receivers contort their bodies just to get the catch. Forget yards after the catch...

Lamaak is day to day. Let's hope that even if he is good to go, we can get up early on KU and he can rest.

Agreed. I don't even remember seeing him on the field. I am sure he played, but clearly wasn't a factor. Again.

    *yawn*

AA threw the ball where no one else could catch it. Much like the TD pass to Franklin against Tech. Under-throw those passes and they get intercepted, giving you something bigger to complain about.

That's what I thought. I remember something to the effect of being possible for the Kansas game. Hopefully he'll at least be back by the Nebraska game. We could really use an extra body in the LB corps.

Re: Reynolds moves ahead of SJ

SJ blocked well against Texas & he will have his share of snaps, so lets not pile on & use the term 'disappointment'. Obviously, it would be nice if he had more receptions, etc, but blocking from the WR position in the way we are running our offense (& its evolution this year) is vital to our success.

Your disappointment may be in the stupid rating services for HS recruits & the over emphasis put on those, which many times gets carried forward to the player & their production or lack thereof.

SJ will continue to play a pivotal role on this team, & before this season is over (& his career for that matter), I have a feeling he will make more 'noticable' plays.

Kudos as well to Reynolds. He has improved & I hope this continues. The competition will only make us better.

Lenz and Reynolds have after the catch ability like no one else on our team. They have shown as much. I won't get into the AA vs the WR argument as it is old but I will say that we win games when our WRs make a couple of plays and catch the ball. I don't remember a drop and the WRs made plays. Kudos to them. Lenz and Williams made some great catches on saturday and Money was getting open. Darks had a nice come back to the ball.
Like CPR stated in his post game...that was a team win. Every unit helped win that game. ARob had a great game, the OL had their best game of the year, the WRs made plays and AA made the throws he needed to make to win the game. I have long stated we need more consistency from every offensive unit and we saw that saturday.
