I think Baylor is better than most people think. If they were a perenial power they would be ranked in the top 15.

Keep in mind Baylor is on top of the B12 South and they are just barely ranked. Think that shows the uphill battle the non-traditional powers have to face.

Oregon will have a difficult game at the USC Superbowl.

I hope Baylor beats the snot out of Texas next week. Should make things real interesting with 3 home losses in a row.

wow, Oklahoma goes from #1, to #11. What a drop. They lost a close game to a top 25 team on the road, not a "bad" loss.

I also don't think Iowa deserved to fall to #19.

Northern Illinois got a vote. Whoever gave that vote out should have their voting priviledges taken away.

    MAC Daddy voted for them.

Same with Mizzou. If Nebraska, Oklahoma, and Texas were 7-0 after beating the No. 1 team they would be in the top 5.

I can't see how Missouri is ranked below Alabama and MSU with the marquee win now. The winner of TCU/Utah should be #2 if they are undefeated. Sorry Boise but Utah and the MWC have proven a lot more than you and the WAC over the last 7-8 years.

Missouri has shown me more than Michigan State has. MSU is going to get thumped by an angry Iowa team.

How about Michigan State? Just being in the Big Ten makes them better than Missouri I guess. I have a feeling MSU is going to get practically blanked at Kinnick next week.

Missouri is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay above MSU in all the computer models. Just wait till the BCS comes out tonight, they're going to jump 3-4 spots over what the human votes have Missouri.

Iowa's best win right now is against Michigan, dare I say ISU is their second best win? They lost to both teams they've played that are ranked ahead of them. I'd say their about perfect with Iowa.

    Re: New Coaches Poll Out...

so if iowa state is 6-4 with wins over a ranked Texas, thumping of KU, and win against ranked Nebraksa, should be in the top 25?
