    McDonough

Saw him this morning working out as I was taking some All State track pics for Valley. Everyone has got him listed at 6'6"

I would say he is 6'3", tops. Not that its a huge deal, but how do you get off 3-4 inches?

That really makes you question forty times and strength posted on the sites.

    Re: McDonough

I dont know wat you are seeing but he is true 6'6. He is the center on the Valley Basketball team, as I went to alot of their games. He was barely shorter than Ethan Freeman of Urbandale who stands about 6'7 so...

    Re: McDonough

He was taller than our 6'4" tackle last year so unless he has shrunk I'd say 6'5 or 6'6 is pretty accurate.

Exaggeration is a BILLION times worse than understating.

He walked right past me, and I'm only 6'

Do you guys measure them with their cleats and their helmets on?

In high school we were always weighed with our pads on and the coaches asked us how tall we were, then added a few inches for the programs.

    Re: McDonough

6'4, 6'5, 6'6, whatever... as long as he can come off the corner and light up Big 12 QBs is all I'm really concerned about...

I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around the banks will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered.

    Re: McDonough

Maybe he's got a big head? I'm about 6'1" myself, but my shoulder height is about the same as someone who's just under 6'0"... just a thought.

I saw Jake working at a Hy-Vee in West Des Moines last night and he is definitely 6'6".
