Vote for ESPN's most annoying personality

    Found this on cnnsi.com:

Who’s Hack? The Brackets! The Grand National Championships

It may be dumb, but it's still better than Who's Now! My money is on Chris Berman or Dicky V.

Stuart Scott is second, but way way behind Vitale.

Why does Stephen A Smith always look constipated? Seriously.
You're talking about the NBA, not anything important.

I just love how he talks like he's so tight with all the players. Honestly, I don't believe 90% of sportscasters/writers are friends with players. Yes, they talk to you, but it's not because they want to...unless you're name is Terrell Owens

Re: Vote for ESPN's most annoying personality

Mark May is right up there. I'm not sure there's a bigger Iowa homer in the national media. Has he predicted yet that Iowa's going to be competing for the national championship yet?

Lou Holtz is right there too. He still thinks Notre Dame is relevant in college football.

Probably the least annoying is Scott Van Pelt or John Anderson (they look so much alike, and it's even more confusing when they're co-anchoring...) - whichever one of them it was that gave the Cyclones their personal catchphrase of "Clonies." I just think that's cool and never gets old.

then there's Linda Cohn, Chris McKendry, Michelle Bonner, etc. Thea Andrews was fun to look at when she was on Cold Pizza (although, just like the rest of them on the show, not much of a reporter however...)

That guy is an idiot. I cannot listen to him. He is indeed the most annoying personality on ESPN. I also nominate Stephen A Smith to replace John Edward as the biggest ****** in the Universe, at least for a day.

Stuart Scott, Stephen A., Mark May, or Lou Holtz?

Nice find! The reviews of the candidates are hilarious. Chris Berman's made me laugh out loud!

I would have to crown Ron Jaworski but he definitely has some stiff competition.

Re: Vote for ESPN's most annoying personality

I still think Chris Berman is the worst. Close seconds are Steven A. and Stuart Scott. One person I really hate that is never on except for 1st and 10 is Skip Bayless. Anyone know who I'm talking about? He comes up with the dumbest nicknames for players: Emmett "Emmy" Smith or TO "Terrible Owens" and constantly uses them. He also is a firm believer that there should be no kicking in football. His stance is that these gridiron gods' fate should not be decided by some dorky, 150lb stick. Either way, the man drives me crazy and I stopped watching 1st and 10 a long time ago because of him

You think Skip Bayless is bad now, you should have read his garbage when he was a columnist for the Chicago Tribune. I was in high school at the time and even with a high school education back then reading those columns convinced me I had a more powerful brain then than he has now or ever will.

Re: Vote for ESPN's most annoying personality

It's hard to just pick 1. Berman gets on my nerves but is not terrible, Stuart Scott has that lazy eye or whatever his problem is that is annoying plus he just kind of comes off arrogant, and Steven A just flat out annoys me no matter what. Vitale for some reason I can stand but I can see why others can't.

    My Final Four:

Steven A Smith (I used to laugh when he was on the show with former athletes trying out to be an analyst. Most of them were better than he is.)

Jim Rome (Mostly for his radio show and the annoying 'clones')

Norman Chad (Occasionally funny, but seems to know very little about poker. Gabe Kaplan does a better job.)

    Keyshawn Johnson

Re: Vote for ESPN's most annoying personality

Can't believe you guys aren't talking more about Skip Bayless. Maybe its because he's not as high profile on the network, but Skip is by far the most irritating, ignorant and annoying person ever to be in front of a camera at ESPN.
