The regents will approve this. Even in tough times you still have to invest in facilities, and they aren't super high costs relative to what we could be asking for.

Good news, seems to be progressing well. I like that a university spokesman said this could make the south end zone project a one-offseason deal now with the scoreboard being moved to the north. Definitely still on their minds.

BoR shouldn't have any say when none of the money is state funds. ****ers.

Does that mean the South one is coming down when the North one goes up? I had hoped they would leave it to help "fill" things in.

No need to filter this one mods. It could not be stated any better.

With a big BUILDING in the north End-zone, where is this scoreboard going to go?

I assume renderings will be available immediately after the meeting with the BoR like other projects in the past.

Something like this: (projected models made by CF members, not in any way related to ISU athletics, just a mock-up)
    From Cyclone1985 and ClonefromNE, respectively.

It's gonna look weird on top of, around or through the Jacobson Building.

I wish they could just widen the bottom two floors of the Jacobson build to extend to the width of the field. It's just too narrow.

It won't look bad as long as they match the lines of the Jacobson building, IMO.
