    Great article Yanks vs. Rangers

I can't believe ESPN let somebody take a stance like this on their beloved Yankees, but as a baseball fan, this article sums up my feelings perfectly. I hope the Rangers can finish this thing off today.

    Hard to disagree with this.

If the Yankees don't win the World Series it should be considered an utter disgrace and a complete business failure.

I'm rooting for Texas just so I can watch Josh Hamilton play some more. The guy is unbelievable, to be completely out of baseball and strung out on drugs and then to come back and put up these kind of numbers is amazing. With the way scouts talk about him, I can't help but wonder just how good he would be if he had never got into drugs.

As opposed to a typical playoff failure like...the Twins? The Yankees make enough money to justify what they spend.

Even though he's obviously had his issues in the past, he's definitely one of my favorite players to watch. I don't think anyone with a heart can root against the guy.

    Agreed.

As a Yanks fan it wouldn't bother me to see the Rangers move on and hopefully win it all. Hamilton is great and I like Vlad too. Mostly I like Nolan Ryan. It's nice to see a no bull**** guy come in a get results this quick. I'll be cheering for Buck (no BS) Showalter's Orioles next season too.

This series proves to me that the Yankees edge on the Twins is purely mental and has nothing to do with talent.
