I don't know why they're mad at him for this game. He didn't even fumble while tripping over his own feet.

    Re: Example of Nebraska fans

I feel bad for the guy. I honestly could never see our fans doing this. Maybe on the way into the locker room after the game but never when they're at Wendy's eating with their family. What an awful group of people.

Wait, I thought that Husker fans were "the greatest fans in college football"? I guess that's only when they're winning. You stay classy Husker fan!

Nice title for that article by the way, I'm sure there was no pun intended at all.

You have no idea how true this is. NU fans were worse than Iowa fans around here during the Callahan years.

It would be too bad if recruits who were trying to decide between kNU and ISU saw this article.

"There are five real good recruits in the state. We got three of them. One couldn’t get into school, and the other went to (the University of) Iowa...which is about the same thing." - Coach Johnny Orr

I have watched Phil Bates buddy for three years. He is a klutz on every sixth play. He makes a big catch, then he fritters it away later. He would not be good pro material at this point. He does not appear to be that upset when he screws up. This happens to him all year/career long. He is not mistake free. He drops the ball while he runs untouched. He cannot handle bouncing opunts very well. What a waste of talent.

Husker fans are upset because he has bombed in at least five games over his career. However, he has been the big star on ten more games.

yeah, because this doesn't happen at ISU . one need only look at Benton's Facebook status after the Utah game to know that this happens at ISU and every other school.

Really? I guess my previous post was wrong. It's not like he was dropping balls, he was just outmatched. Some people need to get a grip.

    Re: Example of Nebraska fans

Paul had a terrible game. With that being said, this article doesnt surprise me at all. There are ******-bag fans in every fan base and it's easy to be "classy fans" when you always are winning.

While on live TV, Ford used a vulgar term to describe a private part of the female anatomy, adding that he was “happily married” and “got more than enough to eat at home.”

The Taxass game was to be the Nebby landmark exit game. It did not worked out. Nebby will be forever reminded of their Texas Years of Famine. They did not score one offensive TD. huge realization that BCS hopes were severely damaged. Now they at the back of their minds think that they could be beat by OSU and Mizzou.

Pay attention recruits. Pay CLOSE attention. That is...if we are currently going after similar recruits at this time.

This is how you will be treated....out in public even!
