    Big day for the Twins!

I'm going to use this slow news time on a Friday night to shout out to my Twins who had 32 runs today in two games! Of course Morneau showed why he is an MVP caliber player with 6hits, 3HRs and 9RBI's today! Not hating on the Chi Sox, just loving my Twins!

The White Sox might just be historically bad. They still have a pretty good rotation, but not much else.

I'm not saying the Twins are really good, I was just pumped to see them take the bats off the shoulder and win in a fashion they dont usually win in.

It's almost comical from my end. They are some sort of bad, and they could easily finish behind KC.

It was nice to see Kubel finally come alive with a Grand Salomi

Re: Big day for the Twins!

I actually got to see the first game for once (QC gets Comcast out of Chicago - which blows bigtime - so I picked up the White Sox feed). It was great being rewarded in the first game. The second game I was at my brother-in-law's playing Gears of War, but I'm glad they continued the romp.

Chuck Lidell: I paint my toenails with pink and black polish. Problem is, I get more paint on my toes and on the carpet than on my nails. Any advice?
Maria Sharapova: Don't you beat up other guys for a living? I don't know how to answer this.

I like Comcast's presentation, but maybe that's just me.

I dunno - something about being down 10 runs, then someone hitting a 3 run homer with the pxp & color screaming "You can put it on the board - YES!!!" seems quite inappropriate - almost like when a camera hits a group of fans that raise their index fingers shouting "we're no. 1" when they're down by 2 touchdowns.

Oh, Hawk's like our senile old grandpa. We know he's not all there, and sure, he's probably pooped himself, but damned if we aren't gonna miss the crazy old coot when he's gone.

Kenny Williams deserves the boot far more than Ozzie, and I can't see KW going anywhere either.

Re: Big day for the Twins!

Quite a day for the twins, indeed. Only 6 back in the central race now. Congrats to Morneau and Kubel on big days.

Hopefully Redmond is alright, he took quite a shot from Thome. I found it kind of neat that the pitcher was forced to hit when Mauer switched from the DH to catcher. I've always read in the papers that Gardy wanted a third option at catcher so he can put Mauer at the DH, always citing that if mauer has to go in to catch, they lose the DH. I've always read that and thought, when's that really gonna happen? sure enough...

I kind of enjoyed seeing Garza flail up there with the bat. For whatever reason, I enjoy seeing pitchers bat.
