KO listed as top underclassmen OT

2011 NFL Draft Midseason Report: Stanford Quarterback Andrew Luck Is No. 1 | Bleacher Report

I know its Bleacher Report but it is nice to see an Iowa State Guy on the list non-the-less.

After the Iowa game, Mel Kiper had him as the 5th best underclassmen OT.

Maybe if we all talk about how bad he is, and spread the word that he sucks and say trust us, we watch him every week... he wont enter the draft.

If staying another year could bump him higher up he'll stay. The difference between going in the first round and later rounds is millions of dollars.

With a ranking like that, you'd think that he would have the ability to get his head out of his *** and stop jumping before the snap at least twice per game.

I'm shocked at this considering he's gotta be averaging a hold and a false start per game...

Well, some shill on 1700 this afternoon was saying that they thought that Stanzi was the best NFL QB prospect in the country. I guess if that's true then KO may be a top 5 pick.

So if James Carpenter would've come back after blowing up at JUCO, we would've had the best tackle combo in the nation....

Add in Haughton and Ben, (both could be a NFL guys imo), and we would have had a heck of a line. Of course, if the RB do not see the holes, and your QB/WR combo is not sufficient, it does not matter.

Gene could spot guys, or at least comfortable at taking the proper risks.

Isn't he playing out of position because of team needs?

I will go to my grave saying that Scott Haughton was a much better lineman that KO and yes I said much. KO is good, don't get me wrong but he has striggled this year with any sort of unconventional Dline movement. Stunts and twist killed him against Iowa. If it's he and Clayborne straight up on the outside KO wins the war IMO, but as soon as there is a stunt he struggles. I suppose he is a touch young to be great at that part of the game, but to be great he has to figure that out. I think he can and will, it's not a limitation.

    I'm on Twitter too: Tre4ISU

    Or so I have read.

Because every starting TE at Iowa has been drafted since 2001....Reisner will be no different.

I guess it takes awhile for the NFL to learn it is the system.
