    HURRY UP OFFENSE ???

is anyone tired of our hurry up offense ----which actual takes over 20 seconds per play. Why didn't we slow things down last night ? I am becoming concerned about this coaching staff. Are you ?

No. It's not a hurry up offense, it's a no huddle offense.

No. Pretty easy to push the panic button after a loss like that.

No huddle offense =/= hurry up offense.

    Re: HURRY UP OFFENSE ???

Not concerned about the staff at this point. Your post confuses me. You are complaining we are taking too much time (over 20 seconds per play) then complaining we are not taking enough time.

Also the offense isn't exactly a hurry up offense. We line up to see what the D will do and then find what we think is our best matchup. Sure sometimes we hit em quick, but really we are trying to get more time to read the D.

Can you repeat this about 1000 times maybe then people will get it.

Sadly, and I say this in all seriousness, but I doubt it.

    Re: HURRY UP OFFENSE ???

The way last night was going, the more time our offense could eat up to give our defense a few seconds break the better.

    Re: HURRY UP OFFENSE ???

the point is to not necessarily to run the play really fast, but to prevent the defense from substituting

    Re: HURRY UP OFFENSE ???

the no huddle offense is stupid. it doesn't prevent defenses from substituting at all. Soo they don't sub on every play, just when they need to, and then they have no trouble doing that either.

It doesn't give arnaud much or any time to look at the defense before the snap.

And we change our plays just as easily as the defense changes theirs.

The no huddle offense will be obsolete in about 3 years and everyone will look back on it as some stupid fad. Much like that quick huddle that teams used to run in high school. Or the wildcat offense...

I guess once the pros quit using it (Colts and others) then it will officially die as a "fad". Like the westcoast offense. What a loser THAT one is. And the forward pass will never stick around.

colts using the no huddle offense? They still stop and let peyton observe the defense for 10-15 seconds most every play.

when did i say the west coast won't stick around? yea, take my comment and blow it up 10 fold...

Not concerned about the whole staff, but I have reservations about Herman at this point.
