    43,000 attendence for Utah

43,000? JTS has 55,000 capacity. What gives? but yet bowling in the endzone is the only true answer.

My only gripe is why were there open seats in the first few rows on the west side of the stadium? Are those not desirable seats?

Pathetic fan showing so far this season all around. I do not know what the deal is. Economy is a tired topic. If I can afford it with two kids in daycare there is no other excuse for others.

My complaint is in between the 40's on the lower east side. Those are prime seats and I see hundreds of seats available each week. I believe these are the seats for the original donors to JTS? Something needs to be done about that.

    Two words.
    Night. Game.
Why wasn't this game played @ 1:00? Iowa was off, it was a gorgeous October day.
Who on the Iowa "coasts" wants a 3 hour drive in the dark?
    Not me.

I sat in those seats for two games last year. Not good.

I don't want to call out the fans but I am perplexed why we can't fill the stands when a top 10 team comes into town AND we are coming off of a good win last week AND we are the only show in the state this week. I knew a handful of Iowa fans that made a showing just because Iowa was off and it was their chance to see a quality visitor. Even with all of that working for us we can't pack the house.

I'm going to go out on a limb and guess it was because that's when TV said it would be played.

and attendance hasn't been 55,000 for a couple years genius. Its listed at that, but if you go to the little releases beforehand, it says attendance was cut by a few thousand when the west side was renovated.

Tonight's result will not be conducive to changing attendance. Maybe there were 12,000 clairvoyant ISU fans who foresaw what would happen...

    Re: 43,000 attendence for Utah

I keep hearing that we only had 43k. Why did I struggle to get tickets. I have an 80 year old father. I kept trying to buy tickets but we forced to row 29 in upper deck. So if it was so empty, why couldn't I get ticket in lower bowl. I tried and gave up.

I had six people that usually dont go to games and we decided to sit over there. I asked somebody in that section and they said those seats were alotted to Utah. But did not all get sold.

Not to be rude, but what game were you at. Hillsides looked 40% full at best.

You're right. If you can make it, then everyone else must be at least as well off as you are, and able to make it. I apologize that my 18K/year job doesn't leave me much in the way for making games. But go ahead and assume that I just choose to snub the school.
