    Based on what I had read, I have to admit I wasn't all that excited when he signed. Obviously the coaches did a good job identifying his potential.

    I like how they said "he has a nice stroke from 3-point range." uh, he shot 19% from 3....in high school.

    I think he has potential to be a great player for us, but you have to take these lists with a grain of salt, he's clearly not a shooter. (yet?)

    The description sounds like his game is similar to Stinson's when he arrived in Ames.

    He shot 40% from 3 his Sophomore year. He did not shoot the ball well early in the season last year. Toward the end of the year he shot the ball extremely well. He is never going to be a spot up shooter like Cristopherson, his value is in all of the skills he brings to the table.

    He went toe-to-toe with both McClellan and Lewis last year (UT commits that are higher ranked) and held his own. They both have a size advantage on him but he plays a lot harder than either.
