OT - A blow to equal justice

So Scooter Libby had is sentence commuted today by Bush. Normally I am a Bush supporter but this just wreaks of Cronieism (sp?). He was found guilty of perjury, and gets off scott free. It is just disgusting, I challenge anyone to jusity this.

I can't justify that either. Congressional witchhunt or not, he was convicted.

Wouldn't happen if he was up for re-election.

I don't know the key to success, but the key to failure is trying to please everyone.

I haven't checked the news for awhile... but here's my obligatory

I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around the banks will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered.

I've been a Bush "apologist" in many instances but I cannot justify this at all. I think obstruction charges are often BS but he was convicted by a jury of his peers.

That's what I meant by "pretty much". It wasn't on the web when I left work at 5:00.

And it isn't like they announced it at noon, when all the news networks would have hours to prepare (pretty smart really).

Don't do the crime if you can't do the time, unless you have friends in high places...Then feel free to do whatever you want, you will get off.

This is why we want Presidents for no more than 8 years.
