    Rabbit + Arob

To me, the two single most talented players on our offense are Arob and Rabbit....i wonder why we don't see more multi-RB sets and flair/flank guys to get matchups that enable us to create mismatches. Its fairly obvious that the hype around SJ is legit....the kid has it.....he will be fun to watch mature, just as its been fun watching Arob mature....Get Arob and Sj on the field at the same time....let defenses pick their own poison....if they want to bunch on the run, then pop it over the top.

To me - our best offensive package could be Darks, Money, Franklin, Johnson, Robinson. Now to me, the benefit is there are many obvious solutions that can be derived from this set its not even funny. You can keep both in for a max protect, still leaving three guys on routes, you can flank both out suddenly putting us in a five wide, you can flair out one thus creating a great mismatch with a lb on one of them.....in essence i would love to see this formation used to simply force the hand of the defense rather then vice-versa.....

Would be a great wrinkle to pull out against a top ten team?????

Shontrelle will be taking carries away from Arob even if hes not hurt after that performance he put on Saturday.

I liked the way we used all 3 running backs.. Seemed like we wore out the D by making them chase ARob and Shontrelle around all game and then put Woody in as the finisher toward the end and beat them down. Hopefully that continues also

    Re: Rabbit + Arob

The way I see it, we have 3 running backs who are each good in their own aspect. A-Rob is best out of the shotgun. Really good with the QB option, and a very solid all around back. Shontrelle is quick as... well, a rabbit. He's fast, he can sneak through holes and bust a huge run, and can be very effective as an up-tempo guy. Then we have Knok 2.0, meaning Woody. He's a huge power back, that can block, but is reliable to get you a few yards and fight for every single one. I'm pretty happy with what we have at running back right now. I hope we can continue to use them effectively and get good blocking like we did this past Saturday.

I just can't get over how fast Shontrelle moves his hips when he cuts. It's like playing a video game and hitting the juke button!

Wishbone it, baby! Put ARob and Shontrelle behind Woody and pound away. :)

    Re: Rabbit + Arob

Any running back could have hit the hole that Shontrelle did for a touchdown on Saturday. The blocking was perfect and their safety was playing up so he just sped on by him.

That's not true. He slipped through there quickly. It wasn't a big hole and it wasn't open long. He saw it and hit it. I was right down there when he came thru the line. It was impressive

I love Woody and what he brings, but he would have picked up 5 yards on that play

And to be fair to Woody. There were plays late in that game that he got 3 yards that our other backs wouldn't have gotten any. They each have their strengths

Correct. ARob's long run was a giant hole. Did Tech have any linebackers or safeties on the field for that play?

Both ARob and Shontrelle brought their A-game Saturday night - as did the offensive line. ARob had a great block of a D-end on AA's front side that allowed a nice completion. Completely took the guy's legs out.
