    Dear Colorado

quit storming the field when you beat a team that is 1-4. Dear Pac 10, You now have a program that storms the field when they beat a team that is 1-4.

I guess you weren't here when we stormed the field for all of over wins in 2007?

    Re: Dear Colorado

I don't know that we've ever stormed a field for beating a 1-4 team, but we were pretty bad about storming the field when Chizik first got here. It was pretty embaressing, and I actually didn't storm my last game as a student because it was so rediculous

Oh we will fight, fight, fight for Iowa State,
and may her colors ever fly!!!

    Re: Dear Colorado

The difference is these guys have won a National title in the last 20 years. I don't think we have ever stormed the field on a team with a losing record.

    Re: Dear Colorado

Not sure if it was storm-the-field-big...but that was a very big win for CU and Hawkins! Georgia was 1-3 coming into the game...but they had only lost to SEC opponents correct?

Oooh - I can answer this one, because I was there. 1997, Baylor was 1-5 when they came into Cyclone Stadium. We beat them 24-17, and us students rushed the field, tore down the goal posts, and tossed them into Lake LaVerne. Of course, we were 0-6 up to that point and that win snapped the nation's longest losing streak, but we still rushed the field on a one-win team.

By the way, that game was the last time I remember us being able to actually tear down the goal posts at Jack Trice.

Maria Sharapova: Don't you beat up other guys for a living? I don't know how to answer this.

    Re: Dear Colorado

Um, Colorado is in much better shape this season than ISU was at this point in 2007. Fans/students/players were desperate for a win at that point... Colorado? Not so much...

    No, thank God.

Saturday, if we win, then storming the field is just fine by me.

I think it's pretty much a given that if we win the last home game we have a party on the field... and we rotate CU/Mizzou as our last home game every year... so it's very possible

Ok I'll give you that, but CU wasn't 0-6 on the nations longest losing streak. That's a bit different of a situation (however desperately sad it may be)

Georgia is a joke. It would be like us storming the field after beating Kansas.
