    OT: For those with children

As my toddler gets older and is eating more foods, I find myself enjoying a lot of them.
What sort of foods did you either discover for yourself or rediscover when you had kids?
    A few for me-
    Teddy Grahams (or graham crackers)
    Spaghetti-O's

Peas. I never thought I liked them but they are actually quite good.

The wife came home with some shoestring potato chip things the other day. Must of been 25-30 years since I have had them. She asked me what happened to the can the next day. Of course I blamed it on the kids eating them all.

Lime Kool Aid. I used to have to double up on that stuff so my boy could get some too!

I am addicted to sugar free koolaid. Especially during marathon training season. Until this year my choices were: lemonade, fruit punch, or grape. That was all it came in. This spring Splenda introduced koolaid packs, it is the splenda equiv of 1 cup of sugar, so now you buy the regular koolaid packets, and mix a splenda pack in. Each pack is less than $0.50. I am loving the lime and orange koolaids again.

Ohh, I forgot, my twins favorite dinner. Mac and Cheese with cut up hot dogs inside. Really bad for you, but really tasty.

Its not too hard to discover new foods that kids eat, because they are loaded with sugar/calories (Tedd Grahams and Spaghetti-Os are perfect examples) and so they taste really good. Do not nibble or eat your kids foods. The college 'freshman fifteen' can be likened to the 'kid twenty'.

The ones in the silver can are the best. Not sure of the brand.

Not too concerned-I've lost 60 pounds since February and she's been eating the foods since well before then.

Pop-Ice Popsicles. After a bike ride, after the kids' softball and t-ball games, heck after anytime we go outside and play we know it's Pop-Ice time.

I swear they changed the formula for the lime. I used to be really disappointed when my mom mixed that one up. Now it kinda tastes like pear or something.

Try this, 2 blueberry eggos as the buns of a peanut butter sandwich. A long time ago on mtv they had this survivor type show where you could win a spot in the wwf, one of the guys would eat that sandwich every morning. So we tried it, and yummy!
