    Pfg cuts another 1500

Exiting the health business. Remember this the next time they talk about the evil health insurance making so much money.

This is unfortunate news. The Health division was lagging since when I was at PFG in 2007/08. Even 3 years ago there was chatter of trimming it.

What did PFG do in the health care business? They were an insurance provider?

    Re: Pfg cuts another 1500

With 1% profit, they have to raise rates when their bills go up. You can lambast the CEO salaries, but in the scheme of overall operational costs, it is small potatoes to pay for the fat cat salaries. The real bottom line problem is it costs too much to have an operation.

People needing fewer hospitalizations would help a lot. Wait, we are adding people who do need hospitalization more than average. We should expect rates to continue to rise right up to 2018 or so before this country cannot pay its bills.

I don't do signatures. Blondes, brunettes, and red heads are a different story.
