    Props to Fred Hoiberg

Fred has really surprised me of how well hes been doing so far. I know TJ is doing alot of the recruiting, but the whole process is much smoother then i have ever seen. We are stacking up GREAT talent left and right. Fred's connections really must be working. Coaching doesnt really bother me. He brought in Lutz to coach the majority of the time and learn off of, which is fine. I thought Lutz would have been a good head coach hire before i knew we were getting Freddy. We havnt seen a game yet, but i can just tell this program is going to be back to where it once was. This next year might be another tuff one to get through, but 2011 and beyound-Look out Big 12. We will get an idea of things this up and coming season, but man that 2011 team looks stacked. I cant help myself with exitement.

One thing that Coach Orr always says is that his success was due to having good players. It seems so far that Hoiberg is really trying to follow suit.

Freddy will bring the magic back! All the bad memories were washed away in the flood.

I know I can't wait for 2011 but I really want to see Ejim and company in action. I think Ejim could turn out to be ridiculous good. We all know this year won't be fantastic..but I still think we could suprise some people.

I agree that Ejim has potential to be a complete stud. I would love nothing more then for ISU to make the tourney next year, ISU to meet up with North Carolina and Ejim completely dominate HB.....And ISU wins the game! Ok, sorry, that wet dream is over.

This year will probably be rough, but I'm still excited. Even if we're losing I think it'll be more fun at Hilton than the last couple years. It's not going to be the same, depressed "here we go again" feeling, but optimism and hope for the future, and belief that we can win (if only because the Mayor is our coach now). Maybe we'll see some Magic...

And don't even get me started on 2011...

These next couple years are exactly how you get the Magic back. The Magic is the fans willing an overmatched, but outperforming ISU team that plays exciting ball, to upset victories. Bring that back over the next few years and then we won't be needing the Magic anymore.

This is really all I'm looking for next year. I just want to see glimpses of what 2011 and beyond can be. I realize its going to be rough thsi year. But I want to see the players develop...something I can't say I saw too much of in the GMac era

Change in fan base perception is going to do wonders for this team next year. I have a buddy who may be the most bitter, pessimistic clone fan I know and he is even convinced right now that every recruit is a star and we could potentially upset some people.

It won't be considered an upset once we're 20-0.
