    Cubs WIN!

Wow, I couldn't of scripted a worse start and a better end to that game. Cubs were down 5-0 after the first inning. There starting pitcher gave them 2 innings, resulting in the bullpen pitching 7 scoreless innings. The cubs scrapped in 3 runs, but no more going in to the 9th. In the bottom of the inning, Soriano singled, followed by a fontenot single which advanced Soriano to third. D-lee sacrificed Soriano in. So man on 1st, with A-ram to the plate as he hits the 1st pitch in the left field bleachers. Cubs win 6-5.

Cubs are back to 500, and are 6.5 games behind the brewers. And have won 7 IN A ROW. Had to be one of the most exciting games that i have seen in a while.

    Re: Cubs WIN!

That 9th inning definitely got me yelling for joy. Todays game was a great comeback.
We've been asking for the Brew Crew to cool off and it hasn't happened, but if we are the ones that can cool them off we can take some major steps towards the top of the central.
    Great game today!

    Re: Cubs WIN!

Cubs are 6.5 back which is MUCH better than 8.5 back.

Tomorrow is huge with Ben Sheets throwing for the Brew Crew and lets hope Marshall has his stuff.

I thought we were done in the ninth with 2 outs, I thought we were done when it was 5-2

    Re: Cubs WIN!

Hill went 3 innings, so the bullpen pitched 6. Just a clarification. GO CUBS!

I hate to say it but Cyclones football is going to be on the back burner when the Cubs are in the World Series.

Oops, I turned the game off in the 8th and took the kids for a bike ride and missed the comeback. Oh well, fresh air is supposedly good for you.

    Re: Cubs WIN!

I watched the first 2 innings and saw we were down 5-0. I left and went house/apartment hunting. Might have found one by the way. But came back and saw we were down 5-2. Watch the rest and had never screamed so loud, and cheer so hard. Great game one of the best games ever. Should make the best baseball plays ever.

    Re: Cubs WIN!

Too nad the homer was against Codero who was on my fantasy team - he went negative 3 points today although he had been leading all fantasy pitchers for points.

CFH HMagic bball season next year.
Let my Fred's Four Horsemen ride: Georges, Hogue, Nader, and McKay.

Holy crap. I taped the game today so I could watch it after work (yes I still have a VCR). I was taking it easy but now I'm going to have to have a six pack to celebrate.

    Re: Cubs WIN!

I missed the 9th this afternoon, but Fox Sports Wisconsin is replaying the game right now, so I'll get to watch it anyways. Too bad I have to listen to the Brewers' announcers though.

Still have to love to see victory ripped away from the first pitch Rameriz got to see. Ahh how I wish I could have heard that
