    Tiller needs a Break.

I think we need to give Tiller some time. He does many things well. like managing the game and not turning the ball over. I would much rather have a pass over thrown then intercepted. Plus he has only started two games. Neb and a&m

You mean like Arnaud getting hurt and him starting 2 games? I would consider that a break

As the backup he'll get lots of time to practice.

No, we need a QB to come in, step up and lead the offense.
Whoever it is, he needs to bring up the rest of the offenses level of play.

honestly Tiller may be the best option. He gets us into scoring position. he manages the games and most importantly he does not turn the ball over. some of you have forgotten how important it is not to turn the ball over.

    Re: Tiller needs a Break.

Alright, he started against Nebby and led us to one touchdown which I would say was pretty good for his very first start. In his second start (as I recall) we either scored a field goal or one touchdown as well. Then he basically started against UNI and he only led us to one touchdown.

He may not throw picks but scoring only three offensive touchdowns in three games with him at QB isn't very good.

I think when Tiller does become the starter we just need to turn him loose like Michigan did with Shoelace.

If he doesn't turn the ball over then how come he has 3 more INT's than TD's in his career?

I think you need to realize that both are Qb's are not that great, and the AA is our best option.

You can say the exact same thing about Arnaud. These penalties aren't a new thing.

So were overlooking the 1:4 ratio and correct me if I'm wrong, I'm pretty sure he put the ball on the turf during the UNI game, but eventually recovered by us.

AA has 3 more INT's than TD's this year!

He threw 2 picks against A&M last year, so to say Tiller does not throw picks is not accurate. I undersatand 3 picks in 13 quarters of action is not much, but there was a three game stretch last year (Army, KSU and KU) when AA did not throw a single interception either.

Tiller put up our worst offensive numbers of the season against the worst defense we're going to see all season.
