    AJ Klein

Hey how about this guy! He's one hell of a player. Great to know he'll be playing for the cyclones for the next 2-3 years. He and Knott in the middle are great LBs.

Also, props to Wally Burnham. We didn't play amazing on defense last night, but honestly, our talent level is sub par. Week in and week out, Wally has come through for us. We all get spoon fed how awesome our offense is every pre-season, but really its been our defense that has won us these games and helped our offense.

I liked what I saw out of AK last night. And he got a pick 6 the first play after coming back into the game.

    Re: AJ Klein

ISU is really going to be hurting when Wally Burnham retires. He has done an amazing job the last 2 years with the talent that he has.

Klein is on his way to having an all Big XII type of season. Leads the Big XII in tackles and now has 2 pick sixes. If he can sustain this type of play, he is going to recognized for it. Between Klein and Knott, we are going to have a special group of linebackers with big futures as long as they continue to improve.

From my eyes young was getting owned. He tackled a lot because his guy caught tHe ball a lot and they targeted young's side (obviously our weak link to them) often.

My point was he made the tackles. We have seen defenders in the past that could not even tackle.

Yeah....WTF. Why did Young get so many reps instead of Reeves?

    Re: AJ Klein

I don't think Young played too bad. He got a BS pass interference called on him once and one time he gave up a 40 yard pass in the 4th quarter was just a great catch by the UNI WR.

He was a 4 star JUCO playing in his 4th game at the D-1 level. He'll get better.

While on live TV, Ford used a vulgar term to describe a private part of the female anatomy, adding that he was “happily married” and “got more than enough to eat at home.”

Klein and Reeves are top 5 in the nation for interception yards with 94!
pretty cool to see ISU in some kind of top 5 category!

    Re: AJ Klein

young was pretty bad.. every time they threw at him it was a completion or penalty. but it was in garbage time. LJ, Ter'ran and Reeves are a solid trio ahead of him

We gotta be top 5 in penalties. And yards given up on kick returns.
