Through 4 games, our receivers have 2 TD's (and one barely counts)

One came against Iowa's 3rd team defense.

Other than that one to Darks, we have 1 TD this year by a receiver.

This explosive offense brought to you by Coach Herman.

“We are light years ahead of where we were at that position last year,” Herman said about the play of his quarterbacks.

Light years ahead in practice. Still not good in games.

Tiller throwing for 87 yards a game will fix that!

“I was impressed by how creative Tom’s offenses had been and how he could tailor his schemes to fit the talent available,” Rhoads said of Herman.

Herman emphasizes the offense will adapt to strengths of Iowa State’s current roster.

“One of the things we did at Rice, was limit the formations and motions to what our team was capable of doing,” Herman said. “We’re not going to try to fit a square peg into a round hole. At Rice, our quarterback and receivers were our strength. I can tell you that at Iowa State we’re going to spread, go no huddle and be up tempo. But what we do will fit the skill set of our players at Iowa State.”

We get it, you don't like Tom Herman. Now go away.

So who do you want fired? PR or Herman? Or Pollard?

How about 6 offensive TDs in four games. Sound better?

We win the game and it's the end of the flippin world.

We ***** all week we want Tiller. He was going to be the spark. Well, we get Tiller and nothing happened. Now we want coaches fired...

Sure.... Two more years rebuilding an offense is exactly why we aren't winning big right now.

I think the Herman experiment will run its course through the end of the season.

If things don't improve drastically, I think he will be replaced.

PR is a smart man and this is what a smart man would do.

    NO! It doesn't.

If you think that's gonna win games, you don't know very much about football.

Herman needs time to get his players in. We are recruiting alot of speed and talent that we need for this thing to work. Give him time. Its only year two with Chizik and some of Danny Macs players.

Say what you want about the Chiz, but the cupboard was not bare.

If you look at our current recruits for next year and those from last year, I don't think that you can assume that there's going to be a drastic increase in the quality of player we're getting.

I don't think that Chiz was recruiting slow players.

Do you think our current receivers are slow. I sure don't.

I wouldnt call them slow, but guys like Sed Johnson and Jake Williams dont have the speed to beat anyone down field. Just wait tell Jarvis West and Albert Gary mature and get their feet wet.
