I guess it's safe to say that Husker ...

I guess it's safe to say that Husker fans, media, etc. won't be making as much fun of the SDSU Jackrabbits next week as they did last week.

Huskers only lead 14-3 at end of the third.

As much as I like Rome (yeah, I know that's rare), perhaps he'll now get off his knees and stop kissing Pelini's arse now...

I love Rome, but yes, the 'relationship' between he and bo makes me uncomfortable

"Redshirt freshman Taylor Martinez, coming off three straight 100-yard rushing games, fumbled his first snap, threw two interceptions, was wildly off the mark with other passes and was flagged for taunting. He finished with 75 yards on 13 carries but was just 6-of-14 passing for 140 yards."

Maybe T-Magic isn't quite Heisman worthy yet

What. No hundred yard rushers for Huskers?

Re: I guess it's safe to say that Husker ...

You can call me a bit of a homer (grew up in NE, went to ISU, cheer for ISU vs. NE every time BTW) but I think Nebraska is the real deal this year. They have a pretty good chance to run the table on their season schedule, especially with Texas showing weakness. Not to be too bold, but I see Neb winning out the regular season, losing against Oklahoma in the Big XII championship....

Well, I guess, Nebraska only putting up 17 on a now 0-3 FCS South Dakota State (especially on a day that top 10 teams like Ohio State and Wisconsin put up 70+), makes me feel just a little better about the Cyclone offense only scoring 13 tonight.

Wow, that's hilarious. They are clearer not as good as they and the rest of the nation thought after UW (and is Washington just that bad? Ouch).

I can't wait until we kick Nebraska's a** this year...
Nebraska fans still talk like we didn't deserve to win last year. Yeah right, we played without our starting QB and RB and still kicked their a** LOL

I wouldn't count on them playing like this all the time. They listened too much to the local press saying this game would be over in the first quarter. If you go out assume by showing up you'll win, games like this happen. I wouldn't want to be them in practice this week.

Doesn't much matter what happened last night, they're still going to rip up our defense when they come to Ames.

Re: I guess it's safe to say that Husker ...

I'm guessing practise in Austin this week is tougher than in Lincoln. Ucla putting it to Texas was a shocker, might have been looking ahead to OU but Texas offense looks terrible and their running game is bad. I agree that Nebraska has things set up for an undefeated regular season but I am not convinced that their QB situation is fully settled until they beat someone that is good with Martinez calling the shots.

Jacks outhustled the Big Red in every phase of the game. Looked like the old Callahan team.

It's one game people. I remember ISU fans saying the same thing after Iowa almost lost to UNI last year. Than Iowa ended up beating us 35-3 and winning the Orange Bowl. I still think Nebraska is a good football team this year. Just had a bad offensive day
