UFL Football: Hartford at Omaha, anyone going to watch?

Just flipping the channels around and stumbled upon this on HDNET. Omaha has Jeff Garcia at quarterback and Ahmad Green at running back and Maurice Clariet is also on their team. Any interest by any of you to watch this football games/league?

I honestly didn't even realize it was there. Too much going on.

Right now, TCU-SMU looks pretty fun.

Since we are an elite team now, let's go get that One Cyclone Moment.
Make this one for the ages!

I'm listening on Homepage - KOZN and have the TCU game muted.

I am watching. Pretty entertaining. The different rules with the defense are annoying but still good to watch.

NHL teams need to be added to the favorite teams section.

What a game! Omaha wins on a last second touchdown, 27-26!

Re: UFL Football: Hartford at Omaha, anyone going to watch?

I was there. I wasn't sure what it'd be like, but it was a really good atmosphere. They announced at the game that it was the largest crowd so far in the UFL's short history. Not sure if they said anything about it on TV, but Nelly performed at halftime. If that's really what happens at rap concerts, I do not understand why anyone would spend money on that.

What are the different defensive rules?

It had to do with blitzing, don't recall for sure what the rules are.

One thing is for sure, after tonight, i'm convinced the UFL would never fly in Iowa. High school football is too big here for a UFL team to be playing on a Friday night, not to mention that the UFL would have to schedule games around 2 major college programs.
