    AA not the answer

All of you fans that are high on AA need to take a step back annd look at the evidence. When has he stepped up and won a big game, remember he is a senior.
Last year he had as many interceptions as touchdown passes, and this year is some
more of the same. I will agree he is a nice guy, but that will not win games, and i thought the point was to win games. I saw Tiller play and his throwing is not much better and would make a perfect wide receiver. Now for the capello kid,all i hear is how accurate he is, hell give him a chance in a game like this, see what he can do, he is only a freshman and it';s time to address this Q/B problem. I'm sure there is a reason he was given a scholarship, herman had one of the best Q/Bs in the nation his last year at Rice, so he must know something about that position. If capello can not handle the job right now then we will know, but this guessing is crazy, AA is not the answer we all see that. He will not be back next year, the others will so although it may hurt some, we must go in a different direction. Go cyclones !!!

    Re: AA not the answer

3 QB's in ISU's ENTIRE history have won a bowl game. AA is one of them. AA is not Bret Favre but he isn't terrible and is THE BEST OPTION WE HAVE. Just because he isn't great doesn't mean the guy behind him on the bench is.

    Great first post, dude!!!!

"I'm proud to lead this program and this team in whatever we do. Whether it's a community service project, or through practice or winning a bowl game, but you don't do that without the kids believing and being all in, and going out there and accomplishing all [of] the goals and expectations that we set." - Coach Paul Rhoads

Why just change QBs? I say start all of the number 2s. It's the only logical choice.

    Re: AA not the answer

Why can't they just put all of the qb's in the back field at the same time and let the fans decide who to play by having the center snap the ball to each one and whoever has the ball when the fans cheer the loudest will run the play????

What a fantastic idea!!! Screw fans voting on what song they want to hear at the game. Let's kick it up a notch. Online voting by the fans for YOUR Iowa State Cyclone QB! You pick him, he starts.

    Re: AA not the answer

You're right - AA isn't the answer. What your thread fails to address is if you're looking for "the answer" we'd have to put Capello in. My guess is he simply isn't ready, or he'd be in there already.

    Re: AA not the answer

AA gets first down, JT second down, and Capello third down. If AA wants to stay in the game, he better pick up the first down.

Why to we get stupid,, i'm just trying to have a problem addressed, everyone thinks if we stay with AA eventually he will have a good game, is that what this
program is looking for, or the future?
