    Reflection on our basketball program

I took a moment to think about our basketball program. Remember a few months ago how us fanatics were begging for commitments from the likes of John Wilkins and BO BARNES!?!?! To see how far we've come is truly amazing and I think were set to see some great cyclone basketball. We're poised to have one of the better teams we've had in recent memory. Idk, I just thought it was interesting to see how far we've come in such a short amount of time. Rags to riches my friends. And I know were yet to see results, so don't rip me apart for not saying that hahaha.

I agree, but let's remember that Godfrey and McKnight committed while McDermott was here.

But I do feel good about the guys Hoiberg has brought in. I like the mix of players and the mix between traditional guys and transfers.

He's done a good job balancing classes in just a year and you wouldn't be able to do that without looking outside the box at one year transfers in Allen and Anderson.

McD would still be recruiting for next year, because we would have lost more players.

Although we won't be good next year, it'll be rebuilding rather than an enormous trainwreck.

Getting rejected by Bo Barnes was a pretty low moment. I forgot about that.

Bo Barnes & John Wilkins........those are some names from the past. Didn't Barnes end up @ Hawaii and Wilkins at one of the Illinois schools.......not the Illini? Do you know? It'll be interesting to see how those guys pan out..........the recruits coming in, it DEFINITELY gets you excited!

I've thought about this some too, but you really got me when you mentioned Bo Barnes. Wow, things truly have progressed in the right direction.

Re: Reflection on our basketball program

It is amazing that I am actually looking forward to see what Fred can do in year one. It would be nice to have all the transfer available to play, but they will definately get the other players ready for the Big 12.

BTW, has there been an official ruling on Royce W. yet? He could change the whole outlook on this season if allowed to play.
