That's going to make a lot of Arnaud haters head for the window ledges...

Then let'em jump. If you can't fix the WR issues and no one is open, then changing the number on the on the qb jersey isn't going to change the outcomes.

I'm not AA lover, but the WR aren't open, lack of speed and play calling is pretty ho-um. Just my opinion....

Where I stand as well. Sure, Arnaud has had a lot of misfires, throwing some balls at the feet, others well overthrown. And yet it seems like nobody cares that at times the receivers run the completely wrong route, other times they don't get open, and other times when they do the first two right they drop a very catchable ball. If we had a better option at QB he'd be in. Clearly this isn't the case.

Re: No changes to new depth chart

Is Arnaud even going to be healthy? I'm wondering if the injury wasn't worse than expected, and if we learned one thing from last year, our coaches will deliberately mislead the press (and hopefully our opponents) about the health status of our players, which is smart, because it forces your opponent to prepare for 2 players.

If we don't have a qb on the roster that can beat out Arnaud the way he has been playing then we may need to recruit 3 or 4 more qb's for next year because this isn't going to work.

Money>>>>>>>Sed! Sed needs to learn to catch with his hands and not use his chest, also Money is 10x the block Sed is. He holds his block late in the game and AA runs for a TD instead of a FG.

Did you miss the play where Arob ran down the middle of the field and AA over-threw him by 10 yards that would have tied the game up?

There were plenty of WR's open on Saturday.......AA just didn't hit them.

Tiller clearly isn't better than Arnaud. Capello? I don't know. What I do know is our last two QBs have been starters since they were freshmen (both Meyer and Arnaud), and while they looked promising early both players' developments flatlined late in their careers. Perhaps instead of continuing to fail to learn from history and throw out yet another inexperienced QB into the fire just to see what comes out, we should try molding a developing our future QB.

QFT. Inexusible to give up a sack on a 3 man rush.

Supposedly Herman spent a ton of time working with Arnaud and he made "drastic" improvement. I am failing to see it.

I don't know if Tiller is better or not because when he gets in the game all they do is let him hand the ball off.

[QUOTE=jdoggivjc;1905181]Tiller clearly isn't better than Arnaud.

Do we really know this? I have seen nothing from his limited play that would indicate that he is not capable. Maybe he is not ready to handle the pressure of an entire game, but he sure hasn't done anything yet to make me think that he doesn't have a future at ISU. I am assuming that the coaches can see some things in his play that makes them more comfortable with AA at this point in time, but I don't think he needs to be changed to a DB just yet.

    .
From what I saw of Tiller at A&M last year, he wasn't any better. They let him throw, and he missed a ton of guys, and threw 3 picks. That isn't to say that he's not better than he was a year ago, because I would assume he is.

I wouldn't be surprised to see him out there Saturday. My gut feeling is that Arnaud's injury is worse than being reported, and that it was affecting him on Saturday when he came back in. He played better before hand.

Re: No changes to new depth chart

When Tiller comes in all we see is him running the zone read. That fade he threw on Saturday was a pretty well thrown ball just pretty good coverage. I would like to see what he could do if given the opportunity to throw the ball 25 times.
