    Pump Fake

I am at fault for questioning a lot of AA's decisions, but why doesnt he use a pump fake. Set up the safety, help yourself out. Little things like a simple pump fake, only make it easier on yourself to complete passes.

I am watching highlights right now and every deep pass for a TD, the QB pump fakes to one side of the field(keeps the safety honest) then throws to the other side. Fundamentals.

    Re: Pump Fake

Because we never throw the ball down field.... EVER. The only time I've seen us attempt a pass over 20 yards is when we are forced to. I am at a loss for why that is when we have an O-Line that can give him time. We have to have a WR 1-on-1 with a safety at some point.

    Re: Pump Fake

I seem to remember him pump faking way too much and getting sacked. Maybe not this year but I know he has done that on past occaisions.

    Re: Pump Fake

He'd pump fake, have the safety bite, and then proceed to overthrow the receiver anyway.

We were talking about explosive plays. One run over 15 yards and no passes over 25 yards. Way to scare the defense.
