No, they are still the same. I was just apparently wrong on one.

I had this game as a win and mizzou as a loss. If we are going into that last game with 5 wins, I could see us scrapping for a 6th win.

I thought we would win 4-5. Now I think 2=3.

Yep, every win that we get now will feel "lucky" in my mind. We are a 3-9 team with AA as QB.

We'll beat UNI, Kansas, and somebody else. Disappointing for sure, but not entirely unexpected. The program still has a ways to go, but I certainly like the direction Rhoads is taking us. I'm not going to get down on the program if we go 4-8 against this schedule in just the second year under a new coaching staff.

4-8. I think a team meeting is in order. Perhaps players only.

No. However, I kept in mind that we have lost our best two OLmen in Stephens and Haughton. On defense, we also lost seniors: Nate Frere, Chris Lyle, Jesse Smith, Josh Raven, Fred Garrin, James Smith, Kennard Banks; as well as some other Senior backups.

I predicted 3 wins prior to the season, and I am predicting 3 wins now. I wasn't an optimistic idiot prior to the season. I looked at how many defensive starters we were losing, and concluded we couldn't lose so many and have a good defense.

Probably 3 or 4 wins. I thought we had a chance at 6, but this offense is terrible.

Re: Have your season predictions changed?

Well, I thought that we had a chance to beat Iowa. This game was a L but we were in position to win in the 4th quarter. I think that this is as good as we can wish for as Cyclone fans. I think that this would quickly be forgotten with a W at Texas or Ok. That will probably happen as soon as I vote for Obama... but who knows?

Re: Have your season predictions changed?

Yes, I thought we'd be a 5 win team, now I think we'll be a 4 win team. I had K State as one of the wins.

Anyone totally bailing on this team is just being a bandwagoner jumping ship. Yeah, we might not make a bowl game but more realistic people had us in the 5 or 6 game range. Last year we lost a "have to have", actually 2 of them in Kansas and KState and we still made a bowl game.

Look, we have 1 game, we have UNI next week, so let's assume 2 (yeah, maybe not 100%, but just for arguement's sake). We need 4 more, 3 to make it a "successful" season in my mind. Kansas isn't going to be as good as Kstate and it is at home. Now, we still have Texas Tech and Missouri at home. Neither is impossible but both are tough. We get one of those then all you need is a "Nebraska" or last year, or beating a Nebraska team at home or Texas/OU on the road. That gets you to 5 which, with the team we have and the toughest schedule in the NCAAs, is pretty freakin' good.

Or just freak out, bail ship, call AA a p****, yell to fire Rhoads, and go home...

Yep, this thread has just been pwned.

I said 4-8, and I'm sticking with it.
