Question Which store has the best GPS system for $125.00

Ok, I need a new GPS sytem fast my Garumin Nuvi gave up the ghost. I prefer the Garmin's over the Tom-Tom. Which store in the Des Moines area do you think has the best to offer? (Wal-Mart, Target, Best Buy)

I'd check Target first. They often have decent GPS deals, although there's nothing in their weekly ad.

I don't really think it matters to much "where" you get one. I mean they have to compete (for the better price) although I've had good purchases at Best buy. They always seem to be having a sale on those things.

This is going to be the route to go in the near future. I have a bing app on my phone (HTC) and the GPS guidance function on that is exactly the same as my brother's GPS unit. It announces the upcoming turns with that really boring-sounding lady and everything. Also might make the dashboard GPS units a little cheaper in the future?

Yeah I was surprised how good the navigation is on my droid x. Garmin may be in trouble.

There are plenty of people out there not interested in a $50+ cell phone plan.

The thing I didn't like about the GPS on my Droid Incredible was that it didn't seem to have the functionality of finding gas stations, restaurants, hotels, rest areas, etc. like a Garmin would have. That functionality to me is more important than "how to get there" - I'm directionally inclined and can get almost anywhere in the US with a quick glimpse at Mapquest. I'd be more using a GPS for "trip-planning" purposes - when and where to make my stops, and it would appear my Droid Incredible's navigation can't do that for me.

Chuck Lidell: I paint my toenails with pink and black polish. Problem is, I get more paint on my toes and on the carpet than on my nails. Any advice?
Maria Sharapova: Don't you beat up other guys for a living? I don't know how to answer this.

In google maps on the X I can just hit "layers" and it gives me the option to select restaurants, gas stations, atm's, etc. and then routes me to those locations. The Garmin is easier to use but I was surprised how well the X did for directions. One advantage that the Droid has over the Garmin 1370t that I have is that you can actually see reviews of the places.
