    AROB

Forgot that he only had 4 carries last year against the Wild Cats... for 47 yards.

Here is to hoping that he avg 10 yards a carry again, for about 200 yards.

Wow, dumb, go back to HN to talk about your guy.

to the OP: I agree, if he can bust open some runs, it settles AA down and we can open things up

He could have had a lot more on just those 4 carries if he hadn't been at half speed. I remember him working really hard to keep moving and getting caught from behind with nothing but green in front of him on one of those.

How good is the ksu defensive line? can we dominate with our decent Oline?

Their Defense is pretty suspect, I watch them again a UCLA team with a freshman QB making his first start, they gave up a lot. And last week they played a Missouri State team that is suspect in UNI's level as well. Their secondary is quick to the ball but this is definitely their down fall Defense over all....

    Go away.

Everybody knows that our AROB is better than your AROB. And ours go the AROB nickname first. Pukeye fans gotta quit obsessing over our AROB success and get your guy a unique nickname.

    Re: AROB

ARob was nursing a his injury last year at the KSU game. Swartz did just fine and for a while I thought we would see Bo ... (ARob spent most of the day on a bike staying warm and loose)

his 47 yards wasn't because of ability but of being injured.

    Re: AROB

Yea, I think even with a half speed Arob playing the whole game last year would have been a win. I'm expecting a breakout game from him Saturday. If we can get the ground game going maybe AA won't have to throw, jk but I think anything positive early for the offense will get Austen off to a good start. I think if we put up points in the 1st quarter we win.

    Re: AROB

I'm not debating that there is no need to bring the Iowa ARob into an isu ARob thread, but...

"Everybody knows that our AROB is better than your AROB."

    They do? Based on?

And ours go the AROB nickname first. Pukeye fans gotta quit obsessing over our AROB success and get your guy a unique nickname.

I suppose since isu ARob is one year older that could be true. The Iowa ARob was called just that as a freshman at Lincoln High School...I suppose the isu ARob picked up the moniker sometime in high school also?

And let's be honest on the originality front...A-"shortened last name" nicknames began with ARod...so they all lack originality.

As far as the OP...I think the isu ARob has a very solid game Saturday. 22 for 150 and a TD?

    Re: AROB

He definitely pulled up lame on a long run, which would have gone for a lot more. That was pretty much the end of the day for him.

We need to move the ball and get the chains moving O. ******* fix the problems and get this season rolling Herman. And our QB.... needs to quit thinking out there and just flat out play. "If you think....you're dead." (Top Gun)

KSU's defense is not good. They gave up 5.6 YPC to UCLA and 4.2 to Missouri St. Heck, they even gave up 477 total yards to Missouri St. IMO- we will be able to run on them and will need to in order to win
