    Thughts on the Iowa game:

    1) Everyone needs to step back from the ledge. Iowa was a better football team than us and we also made mistakes. Add those together and you get a blowout like we saw. It doesn't mean we won't win another game. As soon as we get our next win, this board will be as happy as ever. It happens on here all the time.

    2) We need better QB play. No doubt about it. Not all of it was Arnaud's fault. O-Line had a few plays where they got handled and the WR dropped some balls, but AA must play better for us to be successful. The good news? He will. Mark that down as a guarantee. AA will bounce back and have a couple great games this season.

    3) Our Defense as a whole has some work to do. D-Line couldn't get any pressure. It looked to me like there were a few plays where the DT's didn't even try to rush when they read pass. Just locked up with a lineman and let themselves be blocked. LBs made some plays, but they also made mistakes. That's a given with young guys like we have.

    4) Klein and Knott will be absolute STUDS in two years if they keep improving their game mentally and being as active as they have the last two games. They fly around the field as well as any LBs we've had here at ISU in recent memory, with the possible exception of Ace Bowen.

Klein or Knott will be better than Jesse Smith (a lot better) by the time they use up their eligibility.

ISU may need to turn to the JUCO ranks and find a couple stout DTs to keep the OL off their LBs.
