It Sucks, on to next week

We lost. Nothing we can do or say or write will change the game today. The crow tasted like crap though. Now to focus on next weeks opponent, Kansas State. Remember Kansas lost last week to North Dakota State and beat Georgia Tech this week. Any given Saturday...

If you drizzle the crow in turkey gravy you can stomach eating crow. I have had multiple helpings now.

People are already complaining about de-emphasizing this game. The first two years of Dan McCarney were as follows:

1996 38-13 loss in Iowa City
    1997 63-20 loss in Ames

Nothing too dissimiliar about the last two years. We will win again in this series and soon. I have full confidence in our coaching staff. We still have yet to play a game with the recruits THEY are bringing in to fit THEIR system. Go Cylones! Looking forward to being home again on Sept. 25th!

Yeah, it sucks, and I'm glad we are not playing KU next week as unpredictable as they have become.

Remember...we are playing Kansas State next week, not KU. They don't seem to be lighting up the board this week as they did against UCLA.

I was hoping for some good things to come from Arnaud today, win or lose, and I believe I saw just the opposite. Defense kind of played like I suspected, I think we found out that Sims and Johnson are not the backbone of this defense though and that was tough to take as well. I'm still a Cyclone and always will be, As tough as this is for me I know Austin and others are very disapointed. Now we'll see what kind of character this team has.

    Go Cyclone!
