    Matt Perrault

Post discussion after their show tonight at the ridgemont:

    1. OPEN BET: he believes greggers will get to the big dance before hoiberg will, and is currently taking bets for those who disagree... the only way i see mcdermott getting there is winning the conference, and i don't see that happening within the next few years (or ever); hoiberg needs a team in the top half or so of the big 12, which I think he can do (or luck into) within a few years.
    2. CAGE MATCH: he asked me not to post who this is, and even though on the show today he said a lot of posters on here don't have any brain cells, i'll respect the request, but only because it's pretty obvious who he's talking about: there is one person in this world that he'd love to jump into a cage with and go at it, and I'm all for it: this could be a huge revenue generator for both kxno and ISU... i bet enough people would pay the $25 pay-per-view fee for this for us to bowl in the south side of the stadium immediately.

I tried to get a 3rd point, since only two is fairly awkward, but it didn't happen... so you'll just have to live with two.. if you're reading this matt, feel free to add a 3rd point of the night.

Hoiberg may take the 2010 team to the tourny.

I'd love to see Tron and him in a cage match.

Greg might get to the tournament before Hoiberg but he better do it this year because Fred will be there in year 2.

    Re: Matt Perrault

Even if McD takes his mid-major team to the tournament before Hoiberg, I like our chances of getting into the 2nd weekend of play well before McDermott makes the 2nd round at creighton. Remember Matty P, ISU was no stranger to post-season play until McD took over and killed the program. Better hope he isn't a poison to Creighton as well.

Agreed. Tron vs Perrault would be epic.

Does Matt fully understand that a cage match doesn't mean a slap fight with limp wrists and pulling hair while screaming hysterically like a little girl.

We all know that is how he would fight.

Why not just have an auction for charity where the winner gets a cage match against giggles, I bet it would raise a lot of money.

this is a guy that whines about sore shoulders since having surgery...and he just can't hit a golf ball hard now. bithc

As far as depth goes though, the combination of White, Woodbury, Olaseni, Basabe, and Uthoff is much better than Niang, Ejim, Edozie, Gibson. Not because of the top 2, but because of the next 2 or 3. -DeanVogs

I would spend as much as I had to to be a part of this. I'd come at him like Ralphie at Scut Farkus.

You know how nice it is to turn on 590 in Omaha and not have to hear that idiot for 3 hours a day? Sorry Des Moines area. Crap looks like it flows from West to East. Good news is that all roads lead back too the East coast.
