Dalonte Hill is believed to be the highest-paid assistant coach in college basketball.
Before last season, his annual salary at Kansas State totaled $420,000 a whopping amount that surpassed the pay of most Division I head coaches.
Now he's making more.
After helping the Wildcats win 29 games last year and reach the Elite Eight, Hill was able to rework his contract. On Aug. 10, K-State athletic director John Currie agreed to extend Hill's contract through 2015 and increase his annual pay to $423,750 and make him eligible for significant bonuses.
Depending on how well the team performs in a given year, Hill could receive as much as an $80,000 bonus.
