    ebay shirt...

I found an appalling t-shirt on ebay. Im just minding my own business searching threw ISU merchandise.http://cgi.ebay.com/Iowa-Hawkeyes-Io...QQcmdZViewItem
But yeah, this reminds me why I feel like kicking some iowa fans face in. Then I look at the account name........what a waste of an account

At the ISU-Iowa game at Ames last year, I went to visit one of my friends who was at a tailgate sponcered by his work. He was a hawkeye fan, and I noticed he was wearing this T-shirt to the tailgate.

I don't know about you, but this isn't exactly something I would feel confortable wearing in public (despite it being a hawk shirt), let alone around the people I work with and my managers.

He got the axe a few months later...

It's all part of it. A guy I worked with had a t-shirt of Herky bent over in front of Cy, while Cy was tapping Herky and pulling his hair. But yes, in front of management, probably not a good idea.

I have my share of shirts making fun of EIU fans. One that says "this is your brain" with cyclone logo and of course your brain on drugs with the chickensparrow logo. One that says the only sign of intelligent life in Iowa City is the one that says "Ames 136 mi" and the great "CHOKE" shirt after last years awesome game.

BUT...........shirts like the one on ebay and the one with Cy tapping Herky are in poor taste and should NEVER be worn, not just avoiding it around management.

I am sure the guy selling that shirt doesn't realize he is giving all ebay-er's a true snapshot of 95% of Pukeye fans which is alright with me......

Bottom line is this: It's college kids that get stuff like this printed up. I don't know about you all, but when I was in college, taking it too far was pretty common.

My freshman year i made a shirt with the picture in my avatar on it with the caption "hawks f*%# sheep. People seemed to like it at the stadium. I thought about putting a small version of it on my HWKIH8R shirt last year, but decided im a lil more mature than i used to be, not much, but a lil.

Ps. Do they realize what it would feel like "receiving" what is on that shirt from a bird w/ a BEAK!?! One false move and hed be known as John Herky Bobbit. OUCH!!!

The pictures don't offend me nearly as much as the "F$*# Iowa" or "F$*# State" shirts. That is just blatant and grossly crude.
