Re: Noskowiak not returning to Iowa St

Better to be able to cut our losses now rather than having this stuff blow up during the season when he's on campus

    Re: ***Official PGA Championship***

Heck of a year for Spieth. Two major wins, was one bad hole away from being in the British playoff and then gets second behind a amazing effort from Day at the PGA

    NFL: Re: NFL Offseason Thread

RGIII won the Heisman in 2011. You got Richardson confused with Ingram.

    Re: True Detective: Season 2

There's a marathon on HBO right now. I'm halfway through the first episode and its way easier to follow having seen the season once.

    Re: True Detective: Season 2

When he was debating whether to get away or go see his kid first, it reminded me a lot of DeNiro's choice in Heat when he can get away or kill the guy who set him up. Every time I see it, I'm like no...

    Re: FS Extra Season Tickets

Are you selling the tickets as season tickets or will you be selling some on an individual game basis?

NFL: Re: 2015 Minnesota Vikings Thread

If Bridgewater continues to come along and improve, the Vikes could be a surprise team in the NFC.

I think after the Big Three in the NFC of Seattle/Green Bay/Dallas, it could get really wild to...

Re: Who else is ready for college football?

Can't wait for the opening weekend of the college football season. Got a lot of solid games

    Bama vs. Wisconsin
    Auburn vs. Louisville
    Ohio State at Virginia Tech
    Texas at Notre Dame

  10. Misc: Re: Floyd Mayweather to fight Andre Berto on September 12th

Four or five years ago when Berto was an undefeated welterweight champ, they could have sold this as a possibly great fight. Berto has since lost 3 out of his last 5 fights. I see Floyd sticking and...

    Re: True Detective: Season 2

I've never seen a season of a show that was so muddled and difficult to follow. It's definitely going to require a second viewing

    Re: UFC 190

Yeah they need to have her fights co-headline with another main event worthy fight. Dana hinted last night that Rousey-Tate 3 could co headline with McGregor-Aldo in Jerryworld in December...that...

    Re: Led Zeppelin Songs- ranked

Awesome performance of a great song. Zeppelin proved their greatness that night, playing their first full concert in 27 years and they bring the house down. I recorded the Celebration Day concert...

    Re: Led Zeppelin Songs- ranked

I did kind of like this wisecrack aimed at Plant in the Ramble On section

Yes, there are a couple of (wan) Lord of the Rings references later in the song, but they are out of keeping with the...

    Re: Led Zeppelin Songs- ranked

If you take out the archive songs they used because it was going to be a double album, Physical Graffiti would look like this.

Kashmir, In My Time of Dying, Ten Years Gone, Trampled Underfoot,...

Over the Hills and Far Away is my favorite Zeppelin song. Love the acoustic beginning building to the electric guitar explosive entry out of nowhere. Plant's voice really shines too. Great Page solo...

    Re: Led Zeppelin Songs- ranked

So was this article done by the Bill Wyman, who was the Stones bass player for 30 years, or just a music writer who shares the same name?

    Re: Led Zeppelin Songs- ranked

You take away the Crunge (horrible song) and Houses of the Holy in my opinion is one of the best/most versatile albums ever made.
