Re: Brady Supposedly Destroyed Cell Phone

Are you lumping the NFLPU into the same category as all other unions? The NFLPU can only dream that was the case.

Re: Chris Booker Dodge City C.C.

Agree, but are we in the immediate need category at WR?

Re: Brady Supposedly Destroyed Cell Phone

Not sure what Shifty Roger paid for the report, but from what I read (admittedly did not read all of it) it is a sloppy investigative piece at best.
For $45 million per year, I would not be happy...

Must be some cool pressure gauges if they actually went down to 0.01 lb read outs.

Agree. The NFL did have choices then--- choices they never intended to use.

Re: Brady Supposedly Destroyed Cell Phone

Agree. Destroying the phone is as bad as the NFL now coming up with all of the ball testing procedures that should have been in place to begin with. Gives credibilty to both sides.

Re: Brady Supposedly Destroyed Cell Phone

Same could be said for the player's union and Brady. Both sides obviously think they can win and have the same risk with public opinion.

After Ray Rice, Adrain Peterson, and now Brady, I don't...

Re: Brady Supposedly Destroyed Cell Phone

They have no choice, and it was good move on their part. The NFL is going 'all in' because they know they are up against a guy now that is not going to give up, and has the pockets to go all in as...

Re: Brady Supposedly Destroyed Cell Phone

Agree. But what is the NFLs 50% going to be based on? The ballboy's testimony? Testimony by the game refs without any data?

I like player's union and Tommy's 50% to win out on this one.

Agree to disagree on this point. It will be fun to see what the court says, if it gets that far.

Re: Brady Supposedly Destroyed Cell Phone

The NFL suspened/fined Brady under their rules for deflating the balls. The Federal court will ask for the NFL for the proof that their ruling was based on.

Re: Brady Supposedly Destroyed Cell Phone

Tom Terrifc may be asking for federal judge to rule on the suspension/fine. The judge's ruling will be based on the law, not Shifty Roger's NFL interpretation.

Re: Brady Supposedly Destroyed Cell Phone

I know I'm in the minority here, but I think this will be a slam dunk for Tom Terrific. The league is fining him $ 2 million for defalting the balls. His lawyers will ask the court for the NFL's...

Re: Brady Supposedly Destroyed Cell Phone

If Shifty Roger stands pat with his four game suspension, Tom Terrific will undoubtedly take him to court. He's out $2 million so why wouldn't he? With the NFL now implementing several ball control...

Oklahoma is not and Nebraska was excluded in 2011 (but yet they remain proud members of the Big 10.)
