Re: Game of Thrones Season 5

That would be great! I love it - HBO is making ridiculous amounts of $ on GOT... they aren't going to want to just leave Westeros when the show wraps up... and we will be reaping all the benefits!

Re: Game of Thrones Season 5

How about a season dedicated to Robert's rebellion? That could be awesome.

Re: Game of Thrones Season 5

That is awesome.... looks like they'll be slowing down a bit. I think they need to.... but who knows. Its so weird now that the show has caught the books and I don't know what is going to happen...

MLB: Re: Johnny Cueto to the Royals

Textbook example of a rental. The mission is to win the World Series this year. I doubt we even compete in the bidding for him.

MLB: Re: Johnny Cueto to the Royals

What a great weekend for KC! Ventura and Duffy look great, and we get an ace in Cueto! Love that we are going for it this year. We gave up some talent, but nothing too bad considering we got an...

MLB: Re: Johnny Cueto to the Royals

Wait, are you a Cardinals Fan? That **** box of a town the Cards play in is inferior to KC in every way, from economy to crime to entertainment.

We've landed several 4-star RBs over the years.

Miller was "just ok" as a senior.

    Re: Pre-fall depth chart

While I agree with your overall point, the play of Knott and Seeley was not even in the same league as Knott/Klein as sophomores. They were actually pretty darn good that year. You could see they...

    Re: Pre-fall depth chart

Floyd looked good last year (still feel bad for him about the dropped pass on the fake punt). I think he will fill in fine for Mutcherson, though if Mutch was back Floyd might have been starting at...

    Re: Pre-fall depth chart

It is a good thing we have new starters there. Did you miss my post where I stated that very thing?

Really the only returning starters who was beat out thought was Seeley, who started after...

    Re: Pre-fall depth chart

No really, I do. I just actually watched our LBs play last year, which is why I don't blame their play on our DL.

    Re: Pre-fall depth chart

I was disputing the position that we have good "depth" at the position. Has that registered for you yet?

The players I was discussing in that post you quoted was in direct response to discussion...

    Re: Pre-fall depth chart

You know what? I don't agree with you that its normal for 3rd year players to look lost out on the field. For most Big 12 and P5 teams, 3rd year LBs who start for the first time do not look...

    Re: Pre-fall depth chart

The difference is Klein and Knott had the speed, strength, and athletic ability to recover from a mistake.

These "new players" you were talking about who played LB last year had mostly been in...

I'd add Sam Richardson (QB) to that list as well.

    Re: Pre-fall depth chart

They would have looked better. They still would not have looked good. Did you ever focus on individual linebackers on specific plays? Lots of terrible angles and reads, as well as being physically...

    Re: Pre-fall depth chart

Two of these guys play the same position. Knott was hurt this spring and may or may not be done (per the coaches during spring ball). Seeley and Mills were very far from being Big 12 LBs last...
